Former West Brom star and manager Bryan Robson has urged his old club to back manager Tony Mowbray in the summer market.

"Albion have done terrific," he said. "It was a tough league this year and I'm delighted for some of the lads who were there when I was.

"People like Paul Robinson, Jonathan Greening, Neil Clement, Martin Albrechtsen, Zoltan Gera worked very hard for me when I was there. Some of those lads deserve to be in the Premier League.

"But I think they have to do quite a bit of buying, it's always the same for any club when you go up."
