"I know he is happy with his squad. I talk to him regularly.

"We should remember that he is our coach. The coach has his character and way of working. We did not sign him because he was likeable and entertaining, but to win titles and have the team playing well."

On a possible clearout in the summer, Calderon was adamant: "We made an important investment with very young players in the summer, looking to the next four to five years. I trust this group and this defeat does not have to darken our hopes. There will be some adjustment, but not massive signings."
