Franck Queudrue is eager to see Steve Bruce confirmed as Birmingham City manager.

Bruce's position in the hot-seat may have come into question recently, with prospective owner Carson Yeung refusing to rubber stamp his new contract, but Queudrue is firmly behind his gaffer.

"As a manager Steve Bruce knows what he wants and he really goes for what he thinks is the best thing," he insisted to the Sunday Mercury. "Since I've been here there's been no problem and from a player's point of view we want the same thing.

"He's a man-manager, he's really open and you can go and talk with him. Also he hates losing, so we understand the same things."
