Premier League chief Richard Scudamore has dismissed the latest round of moaning from FIFA president Sepp Blatter and UEFA's Michel Platini against the game's leading competition.
"This is not new," said Scudamore. "Mr Blatter and Mr Platini have made their views known.
"We live in a more sophisticated country and we have a different attitude to that.
"It is not about nationality, it is about how well you run the club. Clubs will only lose their identity if they stop doing the things which tie them to their community."
