Redknapp was released on bail without charge and protested his innocence while also criticising heavy-handed police methods, but the Pompey fans cheered him throughout with 'there's only one Harry Redknapp'.
Redknapp said: "The crowd has always been fantastic to me here and I've not been too bad for them.
"Maybe the way we are set up makes us a better counter-attacking team away from home where we've won the last six, but we think we've got it right because of our best position here in 50 years."
