Aussie striker Joel Porter scored from the penalty spot in Hartlepool's 3-3 draw with Oldham in English League One action on Saturday. The 53rd minute penalty came in the middle of a fifteen minute frenzy in which five goals were scored. Oldham went 2-0 up in the 44th minute before Hartlepool blasted three of their own in a five minute session just after the break. However, their lead was short-lived when Oldham's Chris Taylor struck from 18 yards to ensure both teams took a point.
