The fullback said: "At the San Siro we've only secured six victories, a performance which would drop us into the relegation zone. This makes me think that certainly we've failed to exploit our quality at home because the teams we face are defensive and we did not find ways to get around them.

"The referees haven't been perfect, but are part of the game. They were wrong, but so were we. The fault is ours."
