The pair had a meeting last week to get to the bottom of his troubles and Keegan hopes the experienced Aussie will be available for the rest of the season.
Keegan said: "Mark has only trained three days fully since I've been here. There's a real good chance he'll be fit for Saturday but needs to do training, and by that I mean every day. Every time he's come into training he's had a little setback or a little problem."
