Mehdi Nafti believes Birmingham City's players must make more of an effort to socialise with eachother away from the club.

"It's a different mentality here, it surprised me when I arrived in England because getting together outside of football isn't something that they usually do, dinner or just going out with the lads," the ex-Racing Santander midfielder told the Sunday Mercury.

"For example when I was in Spain every week we had dinner with the wives and the teammates, there was always something going on. But here it's a different mentality and a different culture, we just go home after training.

"We went out all the time in Spain, even after training. I think here at Birmingham we don't go out enough.

"I don't know about other teams in England but maybe it's just something to do with the different culture over here."
