More injury owe for Oldham keeper Pogliacomi

Les Pogliacomi's injury-hit season looks set to continue after the Oldham goalkeeper suffered another setback prior to his return game.

The 31-year-old Australian hasn't played for John Sheridan's men so far this campaign after a knee operation but was set to make his comeback in Saturday's home defeat to Southend.

However, Pogliacomi was struck down with a thigh problem prior to the game, meaning Mark Crossley continued his stay between the sticks.

Pogliacomi is now in danger of missing Saturday's crunch tie at Walsall.

Oldham are rooted to the foot of League One but will leapfrog the Saddlers should they secure victory.
