McLeish admits Birmingham squad falling short in quality

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish admits the squad has fallen short this season.

Eck said: "For a club of our size and resources to maintain that level of consistency we need to is hard and it's why we are where we are, and why we have been there since the start of the season.

"We've made a lot of mistakes that haven't helped our cause and we've just got to keep working at things and improving individuals to see if we can get them to a better level than they have shown in some - not all - of the games."

"We do need to strengthen the squad," McLeish added. "Hopefully we can stay in the Premier League and then get some more quality in certain areas of the pitch."
