Lithuania U21 defender Mantas Fridrikas is set to join Hearts.
Senderis Girsovicius, sport director at Kaunas, insists Fridrikas has all the qualities for a future move to Hearts.
"He is FBK Kaunas' player so it will not be a problem," said Girsovicius. "He is young and must get better but he is a very good player. Now is not the time for him but maybe in the future.
"Fridrikas played with a little injury last night and was on the left of defence.
"That is not his position, normally he plays in central defence and he is very strong."
