The former Bolton midfielder is available on a free transfer after he was released by the Reebok Stadium club at the end of last season.

The 32 year old Greece international is currently on his summer holiday after the Greeks were knocked out of Euro 2008 at the first hurdle.

Brown told the Hull Daily Mail: "I will be talking to his agent when I get back (from holiday) and I will be talking to the player himself soon.

"He has gone back to Greece with his family, who I know very well, and he has only just finished his season with Greece at Euro 2008.

"I'm sure there will be an opportunity to speak to him in the near future."
