Hibs skipper Jones not surprised by Scotland interest for Collins

Hibs captain Rob Jones isn't surprised to see manager John Collins being mentioned for the Scotland job.

"You only have to look at the manager's record since he came here to realise why he is being mentioned for the Scotland job," said Jones.

"After just six months he brought the club a major trophy for the first time in 16 years. This season, we were top of the SPL for a little while, which was very nice, and we have been in the top four right throughout the campaign so far.

"Credit goes to the players for that, because we are all in it together, but you obviously have to credit the manager and his backroom staff.

"It is nice when your manager is getting spotted for other jobs, just as long as he doesn't take one of them."
