Emile Heskey is delighted with his new Wigan strike-partnership with Amr Zaki.

The England international said: "We have struck up a good partnership quickly and Amr is so hungry to do well and to make his mark.

"He's done brilliantly, he's strong and he's had a very quick impact. Taking into account the pre-season games he's got seven goals from seven starts and that is good going.

"We've quickly got the gist of how we play and he's done well."
