Hearts deny clearout reports

Hearts have denied reports they're planning a massive clearout at the end of the season.

Reports had claimed the Tynecastle club were prepared for a clear-out, but a spokesman for Hearts insisted there are no plans for a radical overhaul.

"To suggest that the entire first team has been put up for sale is simply not true," said the spokesman.

Caretaker manager Stephen Frail stressed it was business as usual for the club as they prepare for the home match against Gretna in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

Frail said: "All I am focusing on is tomorrow's game against Gretna."
