Birmingham City chairman David Gold believes the club will remain a target for buyers, despite Carson Yeung's problems in his takeover attempts this season.

He said: "I can see us being in charge of the football club in January, but none of us can say what will happen over the next five years as far as the board of Birmingham City are concerned.

"Even if Carson Yeung cannot complete the takeover, there will be people out there looking to buy into Premier League clubs."
