Shay Given made his 450th appearance for Newcastle on Monday night.

He is the fourth highest in the club's history behind Frank Clark (457), Frank Hudspeth (472) and Jimmy Lawrence (496).

The Ireland No1 said: "It is a great honour. Playing 450 games for this club is something that is very special to me - and I still believe I have a good few years of football left."
