Geordie legend Paul Gascoigne is training with Newcastle's academy in his latest efforts to overcome alcoholism.

He said: "I've really enjoyed it. It's nice to kick the ball about. I still wish I could put my boots on now and again, but I think the old bones and all the injuries are starting to take their toll."
