In a goodwill gesture, Qatar's football association has provided an allotment of 800 tickets for Australian fans for the match, and they will be allowed into the game in Doha for nothing.
The Iraqi football association sparked outrage by charging Socceroos fans 20 times the price of local fans to attend last weekend's 1-0 loss at the Rashid Stadium in Dubai.
But the Qatari's are doing their bit for Middle East football relations in extending a generous olive branch to Aussies interested in coming to the game at the 18,000-capacity Jassim bin Hammad Stadium.
"We're delighted the Qatari FA has made this offer to Australian fans," Football Federation Australia head of corporate and public affairs Bonita Mersiades told AAP.
"We were very disappointed with what happened last Saturday in Dubai and it's great to see people in the region understand there are away fans here who want to come along and support their team, and are now able to do so."
