He said: "I enjoyed it and I think most of the players enjoyed it.

"The banter was terrific, there is a good camaraderie among them.

"Obviously there was the travel, six hours out and a longer trip back, but that's a bagatelle compared to the experience of going to Saudi.

"It was a great cultural experience for everyone. We had a couple of great sessions out there and the pitches were brilliant. It was a nice climate."
