Falkirk are attempting to trump Motherwell for Finnish goalkeeper Henri Sillanpaa.
Sillanpaa's agent, Rudi Vata, revealed: "Falkirk may also come into things as well as some German sides."
The VPS Vassa will have trials next week at Motherwell.
