Calum Elliot is determined to finish the season off in style with Hearts.
The youngster has suffered criticism from small sections of the Hearts support this season and has even been booed at Tynecastle.
He said: "I have not done as well as I know I can do and that's probably one of the most frustrating things for me.
"It's not great when you are coming on as a sub and there are boos when your name gets read out. That's just part and parcel of football, it makes you stronger and it makes you want to prove the point even more.
"I know what I am capable of and maybe I have not been performing to a level I can. Maybe that's a reason. I set a high standard for myself in my first season and maybe I have not lived up to those expectations.
"Hopefully, I can answer the critics with a run in the team. You get confidence from scoring goals and that's one thing I need."
