Doyle: Birmingham must buck up

Birmingham City goalkeeper Colin Doyle says they must be more ruthless if they're to survive in the Premiership.

"Silly mistakes are costing us and we have got to cut them out," said Doyle. "We could easily have had six or seven points from these three games instead of one.

"That is what it is like in the Premier League but hopefully we can cut them out and get our first win and take it on from there.

"The first win is massive - you always want to get the first win under your belt as soon as possible.

"It is only three games into the season and you want to get off to a good start but there is no need to panic. We need to knuckle down now for a week in training before Derby away. We beat them twice last year and can hopefully do it a gain."
