The club captain has confessed to being unhappy by the attitude of some of his team mates, which he believes has directly led to their dramatic dip in form of late.
Pompey will go into the Wembley final on the heels of their worst run of the season, having lost their last four matches in succession.
Distin said: "It is strange as it is a good mood at training. Everybody is happy to come here and work, but during the games we have not been playing well.
"Personally I feel like we don't fight enough and I am not happy about it.
"It is Harry's (Redknapp) job," he added. "I have got my point of view, it is hard to talk about it for the whole squad, but as I say personally I don't think we work hard enough and if you don't work hard enough you can't win games."
