The former Hibs and Dunfermline striker is set to gain his international clearance this week and Rapids management are excited about their latest acquisition.

A Rapids source told tribalfootball.com: "McManus has been ripping up training and we're all very excited about what he can bring to the team.

"There's probably several players like McManus in Scotland, but out here we think he is something very different. With Terry Cooke in the form he's in and McManus now available, the Rapids fans are in for a treat."
