Tranmere have signed Blackburn defender Andrew Taylor on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old will go straight into Ronnie Moore's squad to face Doncaster on Saturday and is eligible to play in the FA Cup second-round tie with Bradford.

Moore said: "This is a great signing for the club. Andy is a talented attacking left-back who we have been monitoring for some time.

"He is a great prospect who is very good on the ball and likes to get forward. I'm sure he will do well for us."
