With substantial funds brought into the club following the sales of Brad Friedel and David Bentley, Pedersen hopes the money will be put to good use.
"I have played in English football for four seasons now," the 26-year-old told Nettavisen.
"Three of those seasons have been fantastic, but 65 per cent of last year was rubbish.
"The goal is, of course, to become a better player and to do as well as possible.
"We should be okay next year and we have to hope that some of the £17million we got for Bentley will be spent on bringing in some new players."
