The 22 year old midfielder is initially set to undergo a trial at Ewood Park.

But Start sporting director Svein Mathisen claims the deal is already close to completion.

"It is not an ordinary trial he (Annan) will have at Blackburn." Mathisen told fvn.no.

"They (Blackburn) just want to confirm what they have already seen.

"It's bad to see a quality player leave Norway. For our part, it is a matter of finances."
