Birmingham City striker Mikael Forssell has revealed the derby build-up is so tense that he and Sebastian Larsson have given their favourite Japanese restaurant a big swerve this week.

"We know what it means to the supporters," said the striker. "We've been to a sushi place this week and the chef is a Villa fan. I think he fancies poisoning me.

"I've warned him not to bother. Actually, I took Seb Larsson there. But I might not go there this week. No sushi for me. No salmon sashimi - which is a shame."
