Birmingham assistant boss Roy Aitken has squashed reports that midfielder Garry McSheffrey was to join Coventry on loan.

He said: "There is no-one is going out of here on loan. Every player has got their price but ideally we wouldn't want to be moving. There is no loan deal for Garry.

"There is no way Garry is going out on loan and will be with us for Saturday's game.

"There are still one or two things bubbling around and you never say never until midnight tonight. But we are happy with the group we have got."
