Birmingham City chairman David Gold has blasted Premiership rivals as being "greedy".
He said: "The greed in football means we preclude the people who made the game great - the fans."
The Blues slashed prices to £15 for Saturday's encounter with Bolton and more than 28,000 - their highest gate of the season - saw them win 1-0.
He added: "You could argue those extra fans won us the game."
Gold wants prices reduced 20 per cent across the four divisions but expects to be ignored.
He added: "Nobody listens to me - they think I'm potty."
