Birmingham City chairman David Gold remains supportive of the Premiership's plans of an international round of games.
Gold said: "I recognise there are issues but I still see merit in the idea and I still believe it is more likely to happen than not.
"And if it were successful it could be extended by another three or four matches abroad.
"Globalisation of football is a fact and I don't understand all the fuss on this. It seems to be an anti-wealth thing."
