Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has put summer transfer plans on-hold so he can focus on Premiership survival.
"Now we're trying to change some things within the infrastructure of the club which I'm sure the board will back me on, I don't want to say too much yet, but we have things to improve upon for the ambitions of this club.
"I have the chance to talk to the board, but in January everything had to be put to one side.
"We got some players we wanted but had the door shut on us with others."
