Barcelona chief Begiristain wants Giovani stay

Pini Zahavi has reportedly discussed his Mexican client with interested Premiership clubs, but DiarioSport says Begiristain has contacted the Israeli to make it clear that Barca want to secure the player to a new deal in the coming months.

Giovani's current deal has less than 18 months to run and hasn't been upgraded since he was promoted from Barca B. But Zahavi told local radio that Giovani's priority is to stay at the Nou Camp and that talks had already begun about a new deal.
