The 21-year-old defender previously worked with Pearson at England youth level.
"I have worked with Kerrea before and he is a fighter and a winner," said Pearson.
"He is strong in the tackle and athletic and we will only benefit from his arrival. I am looking forward to working with him on the training ground."
