Conte names his new Juventus backroom team

New Juventus coach Antonio Conte has named his backroom staff.

Last night, Conte confirmed the coaching staff, which includes ex-Juve player Angelo Alessio as his assistant manager.

Alessio wore the Bianconeri jersey from 1987 to 1992, winning the UEFA Cup and Cup Winners' Cup in his 142 games.

He was Conte's teammate in Turin in his final season there, in 1991-92, and had been his assistant manager at Siena this term.

Conte's assistant on the field will be former Como, Genoa and Bari player Cristian Stellini, again brought over from Siena, while ex-Roma staff member Paolo Bertelli is the fitness coach.

Claudio Filippi will take care of training the Juventus goalkeepers, as he has done since 2010.
