Conte demands Chelsea jump into battle for Monaco winger Lemar

Chelsea have joined the battle for wantaway AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.

Lemar rejected big money offers from Liverpool and Arsenal on deadline day in August, but hasn't shut the door on leaving ASM in the New Year.

Both Liverpool and the Gunners remain keen, however now face competition from Chelsea, reports L'Equipe.

With doubts over the future of Eden Hazard and Willian and Pedro battling to convince, Conte is eager to find another attacking midfield option - and Lemar fits the bill.

Should the France international intimate a willingness to leave in January, Conte will insist Chelsea compete with all suitors for his signature.

A €90m offer from Arsenal in August wasn't enough for ASM to push Lemar into accepting a move away.
