Conte delays Serie A return in Man Utd hope

Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is eyeing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job at Manchester United.

The Sunday Express says Conte is wanted by both Roma and Inter Milan after being out of the game since leaving Chelsea last summer but he doesn't want to commit himself.

He was mentioned as a possible target for United before they sacked Jose Mourinho and subsequently appointed Solskjaer.

The Red Devils made a remarkable start under Solskjaer but since he handed the Old Trafford reigns on a permanent basis they have lost seven of the last nine games.

They are now struggling to finish in the top four and Conte wants to see if they stick with Solskjaer before in which direction that he wants to take his career.

Conte's last game in charge of Chelsea was a victory at the expense of Manchester United - in last year's FA Cup final.
