Antonio Conte insists Chelsea are ready to respond from the weekend's defeat to Liverpool.

The Blues lost 2-1 at home to the Reds on Friday night and after a rollicking from the boss, the playing group is now prepared to bounce back in the EFL Cup third round against Leicester City on Tuesday night.

Conte told Chelsea TV:"We are disappointed about the defeat against Liverpool because we gave away two goals and it was our first defeat of the season, but during training I've seen the right intensity and the right commitment from the players.

"And now tomorrow we have a very tough game against Leicester. We are ready."
