Former Lazio coach Delio Rossi has backed Antonio Conte for the Italy job.

The former Juventus coach is a prime candidate for the post.

"Conte as CT? He was a great champion, he worked his way up as a Coach and led Juventus as best as he could," former Palermo and Fiorentina boss Rossi has told RAI.

"He has everything to do very well with the national team."
