Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce has admitted he is confused about the status of midfielder Liam Bridcutt's proposed loan deal with Leeds United.
The Black Cats had agreed to send Bridcutt, who has not featured for Sunderland this season, to Elland Road on a two-month loan, but it appears the move may no longer go ahead.
"It looks like it's confused - like Leeds seem to be," Allardyce said.
"I don't know if it's going to happen but it doesn't look like it because he turned up for training today. I'll have to speak to [Leeds manager] Steve Evans and see what the situation is."
