The Danish Football Association has denied that it will host a friendly match between England and Argentina in February. The Three Lions are reportedly planning to take on the South Americans next year on 9th February, identifying Denmark and Norway as potential locations for the clash.
However, Danish FA secretary-general Jim Stjerne Hansen says the date has been reserved by Fifa for Denmark to host a friendly against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
Hansen insists that their job is to sort out the affairs of the Denmark side and that he 'does not want to compete with other national sides' playing on the same day.
