CONFIRMED: Duff leaves Burnley to take Cheltenham manager's job

Former Burnley youth chief Michael Duff has been named new manager of Cheltenham Town.

Duff brings an end to the Northern Irishman's 14-year stay at Burnley.

The former defender made more than 300 first-team appearances for the Robins and was part of the side that progressed from the Southern League to League One in five years.

He switched to Burnley in 2004, spending the remainder of his playing career at the Clarets before turning his hand to coaching two years ago.
