Former Liverpool football chief Damien Comolli remains upset with his axing at Anfield.
Comolli was shown the door by FSG eight years ago.
He recalled to The Athletic, "I feel it was an injustice. We won a trophy, we got to the FA Cup final as well, two finals in the same season.
"We had no money. We had to borrow money from them to buy players. We had to borrow from them to buy Luis Suarez. The wage bill was through the roof, we had potential Financial Fair Play issues, everybody knows the story of the previous ownership (Tom) Hicks and (George) Gillett.
"I always felt something could happen. After I left, they changed the structure of the club at ownership level, Mike Gordon took over from John Henry and Tom Werner and he brought stability in the way they run the football club, and the rest is history."
Comolli is now running things at Fenerbahce.
