Comolli admits Chelsea scoring drought for Torres helping Liverpool

Liverpool football chief Damien Comolli admits Fernando Torres' scoring drought at Chelsea has worked in their favour. The Reds have avoided an expected backlash over the sale of Torres in January.

And Comolli admitted to liverpoolfc.tv: "I think people would talk more about Fernando if he was scoring goals, also. I wish him to do so, just not against us, in the future.

"As I said, when you have someone who doesn't want to be here and you swap him for people who want to be here the atmosphere changes. It's like there is a bright new sky with no cloud over our head from the day that happened. So it's been only positive."
