Colorado Rapids reward Griffiths, Kindle with new deals

Colorado Rapids have signed defensive pair Brenton Griffiths and Kory Kindle to new contracts.

22-year old Jamaican Griffiths arrived at Dick's Sporting Goods Park via the 2013 MLS SuperDraft and made one appearance during the 2013 season before undergoing shoulder surgery in November.

22-year old American left-back Kindle also joined the Rapids through the 2013 draft but failed to make a senior appearance before having a hernia operation in September.

"Brenton and Kory both made good strides last year in their development, and we're happy to have them back this year," said Rapids Technical Director Paul Bravo.

"They have a great deal of potential and we look forward to their continued growth and development."
