Colorado Rapids are believed to be close to securing the services of Kevin Harbottle according to a source close to the potential deal.
MLSsoccer.com reports that the 22-year old attacking midfielder, currently with Chilean club Universidad Catolica, could join the Rapids on a free transfer.
The skilful Harbottle, who has represented Chile on one occasion, is expected to join fellow Latin-American players Jaime Castrillon, Martin Rivero, Hendry Thomas and Luis Zapata at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
