Colorado Rapids head coach Pablo Mastroeni is currently in England on an educational trip.
The Rapids boss is spending time with Championship club Middlesbrough who are managed by his former teammate Aitor Karanka.
Rapids technical director Paul Bravo said it was a great opportunity for Mastroeni, who has only one season of coaching experience, to further his development in a professional environment.
"Pablo is hoping to spend time with Aitor - another former player that has moved onto coaching - to share ideas," Bravo told the club's official website.
"This, therefore, represents a great opportunity for our head coach to go and further his education."
Under the guidance of Mastroeni, the Rapids finished eighth on the Western Conference table and 17th overall in 2014.
