Colombia coach Carlos Queiroz has urged James Rodriguez to move to Juventus.
The Real Madrid midfielder is coming to the end of a two year loan at Bayern Munich.
Bayern have a €42m option to make the deal permanent, but James is reluctant to commit.
Queiroz, meanwhile, has told James to make the move to Juve and work alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Spanish media sources. Queiroz says Ronaldo will be good for the Colombia captain.
Ronaldo and Queiroz worked together at Manchester United.
